Ok so you want to get your 2210 or 5550 to work with a bluetooth mobile phone.
This is how we set up the units to work with a Nokia 6310i.
First on the phone you MUST get your phone provider to enable GPRS and give you the settings you need to connect.
The following are settings for Vodafone Ireland.
First go into the Ipaq and select Bluetooth manager and turn bluetooth on.
Next go back into the manager and press “New” then “connect” to start.
This is the screen you should get. Select as above Connect to the Internet.
You may need to press “Next” to get to this screen
select bottom option as shown. Press next
At this point press the device panel to get a list of devices.
Please wait until the list is complete or you can see the one you want.
This is the 6310i phone. Click on the icon and get the next screen.
Press Finish to get to the next step.
Click new connection to start the next phase and press “Ok”
Enter the name you want the connection know as leave the next two boxes empty and put *99# in the phone number. Press Ok
Now enter the user name and password the provider gave you for this one its “vodafone” in lower case for both
leave domain blank and check save password then “Ok”
at this point the phone will try to connect but will not get very far as it is missing a lot of details it needs.I normally just hit “cancel” and carry on.
